My daughter who is 20, played year round volleyball for 5 years. She does not play volleyball any longer but has day to day pain in her shoulder. She has had an MRI & several X-rays & they have said it looks like arthritis. Would a cortisone shot be helpful with the pain she has on a daily bases & would you recommend having it done? She has been to physical therapy which relieves some pain but does not fix the discomfort she experiences every day.

I have si and l3-5 vertebrae movement at 50 percent. I am an active 66 year old with osteoporosis at the moderate to severe level in my spine. I have little or no discomfort during the day but severe pain at night. I have done physical therapy, cortisone shots, nerve pain meds but nothing helps. What might the next step be as I have been told surgery is not really an option. I power walk 6 miles a day and not walking does not se to make any difference in the night pain.

Back on April 15 I injured my knee in my martial arts class while pivoting on my knee for a kick. Had my knee xrayed at sentara urgent care and they said I didn't break anything but till this day I need to wear a heavy duty knee brace. I injured my hamstring a year ago in a fencing accident. I still limp when I run and if I sit too long my left butt check hurts really bad. Will this injury ever heal?

At times my knees buckle an bending them for more then a few minutes hurt. At times i wake up in the night from the pain being so bad. Never once had any injuries.
