Judge lowers sentencing guideline range for #McDonnell to 6 ½ to 8 years in fed prison for corruption convictions live.wvec.com/Event/HAPPENIN…

Complete Joke of the system. What about other politicians who have done the same? Where is their sentencing? Citizens of VA have failed you Gov. McDonnell.
-
Character witnesses for #McDonnell are now taking the stand asking judge for leniency in sentencing of former Gov.
-
Ask Jesse Jackson Jr about that one. Jackson is sitting in a Federal Penitentiary for much the same thing as McDonnell is accused of.
-
So what can they say about McDonnell's character that being convicted of corruption didn't tell? Maybe he is rich, white and male and therefore should be given leniency?

Give him 8. Let everyone know we don't tolerate corruption in VA!

O I almost forgot you have experience with getting in and out of trouble. Maybe you could give their son some help.

So if he gets community time as requested will he actually do it. what about the appeal and if he goes to Haiti this 600 hours will they be 24 hours a day since he is not home
-
I had to do 8 months of a 3 year sentence in the Norfolk jail for damaging someones truck over a $1000. .. one class 6 felony .. so he has 11 felony convictions .. well .. he needs to go to prison just like any other convict .. The court did not care about the fact I lived with my 84 year old father and looked out for him .. heck he went without heat for two months because a breaker was off .. I had letters of support etc. The court needs to lock him up, and then after that maybe he can do some community service and might have a different perspective of the justice system.
-
He should do time in prison. Then he should be forced to live in Portsmouth and work a minimum wage job in Norfolk so he can feel the same pain he has caused with his crooked tunnel contract.
