Good evening everybody. News on Joaquin today more encouraging for our area than what we were looking at yesterday. That said, we are not out of the woods yet. Much can change in the next 3-4 days, and still much for us to watch and consider through the weekend.

I think it's going to be like Isabel as in the wind damage when it hits . We had a lot of rain before Isabel a couple days before it hit just like this one. Once the wiND picks up the tree's coming down since the ground is already so saturated. Do you guys have a prediction for the wind map like a lIke you guys do sometime ? Maybe too early for that now.

My property is effected by the tides greatly. I see some of the next few high tides are supposed to be quite high. Are we expecting those to be sustained at all? We're trying to decide whether or not we should leave before it gets too difficult talk walk through with the kids.
