Does physical therapy take longer the older people get. I feel like I'm having a harder time recovering from a sholder injury than I have in the past.

How much is physical therapy supposed to cost? How do we know if we are getting the run around with our current therapist. My father keeps hearing, it will take more time, more time. We get the feeling we are just being strung along.
-
I had plates put in my hand and had to go through physical therapy because of it, will I need to go through physical therapy for it again as I get older?
-
I was in a car accident and saw a doctor right after. I didn't think I needed more treatment but the problems have persisted. Can I call you directly or should I go back to my doc?
-
Is there a way we can get a check up to see if we are in need of physical therapy. As I age I'm having a harder time getting around, so I wonder if it could increase my mobility.
-
If your child is struggling with achieving any developmental milestones, please feel free to ask me your questions!

I suffered a minor injury in a car accident about a year ago. Went through some physical therapy for pain I was experiencing. Have you ever seen patients who have been totally alleviated from their pain as a result of continuing these exercises at home? How long before their pain completely went away?
-
I'm currently in physical therapy for piriformis muscle inflammation. I still exercise 5-6 days a week for 60 minutes and am doing my therapy exercises. I am starting to have what appears to be muscle spasms. They are not very severe but I am wondering if there is anything I could be doing to help eliminate any future spasms. I am drinking more water and can feel the back of my legs getting stronger. I am only going once a week to therapy due to it not being to severe. Any thoughts may help.
-
Can physical therapy help my baby's development if there's nothing wrong with her?
-
This question is for Beth. Do you think a 5-year-old's lisp can normalize over time?
-
Do you see many children with hearing disabilities? If so what can you offer on spech therapy?

Hi I truly benefitted from pt over the past few years. Unfortunately I am getting back to that pre ot pain. I am post laminectomy and ever since have had some issues. What pushed me back into ot 2 years ago was a fall and my IT band was hard as a rock. Can you explain the easy access? I feel as though pt could be something I went to for the rest of my life. In addition 15 years ago I was told I have "fibro", which has always been hard to accept. Can't believe I used to run 5 miles years ago and mornings can be such a struggle :(
