To qualify for fuel assistance/energy assistance, the maximum monthly income for a one-person household cannot exceed $1,287; $2,663 for a household of four.

I was curious how difficult is it to switch from an electric heat pump/ac to a natural gas unit...would there have to be an additional unit added?

The energy assistance program is funded by the LIHEAP block grant. LIHEAP is short for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. It is designed to offset residents' energy costs. It is not designed to cover your entire energy bill, but every little bit counts, huh?
